The Savage Gear Micro Skipper Papalina lure is truly unique. It is neither a planer nor a spoon, but it combines the virtues of both of these categories into something innovative. Compared to lead shots it is lighter, but with a little more volume. These characteristics, combined with its asymmetrical body, which resembles a boat's keel, produce an unorthodox movement that metal planes and spoons cannot imitate.

The Savage Gear Micro Skipper is a lure designed for intense surface splash action.

It launches from your rod and once it hits the surface of the water, it creates turbulence and intense action, with a simple, consistent retrieve. So simple.

Throw in a few casts and you'll see catches such as Blackfish-Spratfish-Collies-Sea Bass-Blonds-Dasks and any species that hunts near the surface respond in record time. It is available in two weights 5 & 9 gr addressed to the friends of Heavy Rock Fishing and light Spinning.

The use of which is very simple, like a spoon. By making one of the very long casts it offers, we can simply retrieve it with a steady fast, or slower retrieve and rely on the strong swim it produces. At the same time, this small artificial can also work as a Slow shot that allows us to jig it strongly and rely even on the very lively movement it has during its sinking.

The Savage Gear Micro Skipper is a unique, metal rig that allows us to use it to reach long distances, cover a lot of water in a single shot and be able to change strategy from simple retrieves to technical Jerks and Twitches, being at the same time sure that even in the fall it does not idle. Try techniques such as "Slow Fall", "Irregular Darting", "Twitching", or "Jerking" and determine for yourself which is the most effective in your area, depending on the catch available. You'll notice for example that during a slow and steady retrieve, when the Micro Skipper encounters currents, it makes a vague movement that looks perfectly natural to the eyes of predators. Conversely if you try a quick retrieve, with the tip of the rod up, the lure will make a "skipping" movement similar to that of a panicked minnow. Depending on the technique you use, you can also hunt the corresponding catches with the Savage Gear Micro Skipper.
